2012 Round Up

Posted on December 31 2012

2012 has definitely been a great year… When I started Urban Bling last October, I could have never imagined this! Over 55 commissions this year with clients from Australia to Russia, Canada, US and the UK, I am soo grateful. To everyone that’s sent me their shoes, to everyone that I’ve talked to and to all that support me, thank you. Through this process I’ve grown, a lot. I never thought that business would be this good or that I would become friends with soo many of you guys.

One of the things I’m most proud of is that none of my clients have come back to me with issues about my workmanship or sent their shoes in for repair. So thank you all for making my year and I can’t wait to see what 2013 has in store. Before I say goodbye to a very fruitful year, here’s a recap of some of my favorite commissions of 2012.

Balota’s strassed in Silk. This is by far one of my most reposted and stolen photos. I love these, to death. Everything about this shoe – the color, the straps, the silhouette. This commission was definitely one of a kind and at the top of my list.

It’s been the year of the Dafs! This year alone I’ve strassed 9 Daffs/Daff style shoes so it was only right I included her. Hello beautiful.

Ring Strass! CL introduced Ring Strass this year and I, as far as I know, is the only one to ring strass CLs besides CL.  This is definitely a very interesting rhinestone to work with and I got the privilege to ring strass five pairs of shoes this year.

Rainbow No Prive. One of the things I love about my commissions is that I get soo many colorful and unique ones. This pair in particular made my top of 2012 because it represents all of that.

Fade Strass VPs! Take note CL, take note ;)

Chanel? Pick your jaw up off the floor because you bet I did! Does this pic look familiar? No? Well that’s because until now, I’ve only uploaded this to my instagram account. If you’re not following me there, you must! instagram.com/urbanbling – see you there.
